Testing process the development of transversal skills in practical training

Within the project “The acceleration method of development of transversal competences in the students’ practical training process”, implemented in partnership with the Poznań University of Technology, which is the project coordinator, started in the Czestochowa University of Technology to test the development of transversal skills in practical training.

The aim of the testing process is to assess the increase in transversal competences such as entrepreneurship, creativity, communicativeness and group collaboration among students participating in the study.

The testing process takes place in the group of students under the subject “Methods of Organization and Management” for the 4th semester of the 1st degree studies at the Faculty of Management. The subject is implemented in the formula: 30h of lectures and 15h of practical training.

At the first meeting with students, which took place on March 8, 2017, the staff of the Faculty of Management of the Częstochowa University of Technology, composed of prof. Dr hab. Eng. Leszek Kiełtyka, dr hab. Eng. Robert Kucęba, prof. PCz, dr hab. Eng. Waldemar Jędrzejczyk, prof. PCz and dr inż. Edyta Kulej-Dudek introduced students to the subject of the project. They highlighted the importance of activities related to the development of cross-section skills in practical education, and pointed to linking skills needs at a higher level to the needs of employers in the labor market.
