Presentation of the project results at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business, Slovenia

 

The results of the Erasmus+ project were presented to the undergraduate students on May 23, 2016 at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business, Maribor, Slovenia. Assistant professor dr. Tjaša Štrukelj presented two reports that are the results of the first two groups of activities held within the Erasmus+ project titled “The acceleration method of development of transversal competences in students’ practical training process”. The first report titled »The report concerning applied teaching methods of transversal skills and methods of practical trainings« provide students in-depth overview of systems of higher education in Finland, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. The results of the analysis of practical teaching methods applied in formal, nonformal and informal learning are presented in the report as well as the results of the analysis of transversal competences’ teaching methods in all four participating countries. Prof. dr. Tjaša Štrukelj presented the content of the second report titled »The report of the research of transversal skills requirement among entrepreneurs« as well. The results of the survey in which 135 companies of different sizes and industries took part are presented in this report. The main purpose of the research was to explore the requirements on transversal skills (i.e., entrepreneurship, communicativeness, creativity and teamwork) among entrepreneurs in all four countries. The discussion on the content of both reports and their impact was held after the presentation.
