January 28th, 2014, in Pila the grand opening of Poznan University of Technology laboratories in Pila took place. This second location next to Poznań practice laboratories, is the effect of cooperation with the authorities of the District of Pila.
During the ceremony, Tomasz Bugajski Member of the Board of the Wielkopolska Region, prof. dr hab. inż. Tomasz Łodygowski Rector of Poznan University of Technology and Starosta Pilski Miroslaw Mantaj gave a speech.
The invited guests had the opportunity to visit laboratories located in two schools: the School of Economics and Secondary Schools Complex No. 1. H. Cegielski. In both schools the professional practices have been implemented since September 2013. This professional practices allow students to contact with the most modern equipment, the same as that used in the laboratories at the Poznan University of Technology.
