On May 17^th – 18^th, 2012, at Concordia Design, located at Zwierzyniecka Street in Poznan, a conference entitled “THE PROFESSIONAL’S TIME – DEVELOPMENT OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IN THE REGION” took place. Summary and continuation of the actions undertaken within the framework of the “Wielkopolska monitoring and forecasting system” project.

The audience comprised of the representatives of local governments, job market institutions, local businesses, vocational schools and business organizations.

During the conference, the participants were familiarized with the results achieved within the framework of the project „Wielkopolska monitoring and forecasting system”, as well as were informed on the actions undertaken in order to develop the vocational education system in Wielkopolska region, related to the job market. Among others, the following issues were discussed: modular education, practice labs for students of Wielkopolska region, e-learning system in schools, educational and vocational counseling system.

The representatives of vocational schools, educational institutions, local government, employers, businesses, job market institutions, employers’ organizations, non-government organizations were invited to the conference in particular.

Over 150 participants attended the conference.
