On November 6, 2024, a meeting entitled: “Projects supporting VET within the framework of ESF operational programs in Poland” was held. It was attended by representatives of educational institutions and entrepreneurs from Ukraine. The meeting, as part of a study visit organized by the International Solidarity Foundation, took place at the Poznań University of Technology Lecture Center.

The inviters were the Department of Education and Science of the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region with Director Dorota Kinal, the Department of Implementation of the European Social Fund of the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region with Director Sylwia Wójcik, and the host was the Poznań University of Technology with the Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with the Economy, Dr. Hab. Arkadiusz Ptak, prof. PP and the manager of PP’s tasks in the project “Time for Professionals for Wielkopolska” Dr. Hab. Eng. Maciej Szafrański.

The International Solidarity Foundation was represented by Mr. Michał Kubisz, Ms. Lidia Litwińczuk and Mr. Mateusz Pachura, while the delegation from Ukraine was represented by representatives of the Ministry of Education with Ms. Iryna Shumik, Director of the Department of Vocational Education, representatives of the Ministry of Finance, representatives of the National Employment Service, the Federation of Employers, the Department of Education of the City of Kryvyi Rih, the Department of Education of the Rivne Oblast, the Department of Education of the Ternopil Oblast, the National Qualification Agency and representatives of private employers.

The meeting was aimed at exchanging experiences regarding activities supporting vocational education and included:

– a presentation of the Poznań University of Technology, made by Dr. Hab. Arkadiusz Ptak, prof. PP, Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with the Economy,

– a presentation entitled “Support for vocational education in the Wielkopolska within the framework of ESF programmes”, presented by Ms Agnieszka Odolczyk, Head of the Implementation Department in the Department of the European Social Fund at UMWW,

– presentation of the project “Time for Professionals for Wielkopolska”, presented by Ms Dorota Kinal, Director of the Department of Education and Science at UMWW,

– presentation of the system zawodowcy within the project “Time for Professionals for Wielkopolska”, presented by Dr. Hab. Eng. Maciej Szafrański, PP task manager in the project “Time for Professionals for Wielkopolska”,

– visiting laboratories (technological processes, cybersecurity, marketing, 3D scanners, multimedia, prototyping and industrial automation) within the project “Time for Professionals for Wielkopolska”, presented by Dr. Eng. Małgorzata Spychała.
