On December 15, 2011 the first of the series of 22 information panel took place at the High School-Technical Complex in Poznan as part of the “Wielkopolska Monitoring and Forecasting System” project. Information panels – local seminars – are first meetings of its kind, which aim to:

– verify companies’ needs in the field of competency, specifically vocational sills,

– discuss perspectives for development of professions and relevant competences, with particular focus on local conditions,

– working on a method of utilising the IT solution, developed within “Wielkopolska Monitoring and Forecasting System”, in group analyses for competence needs,

– developing mechanism of creating and sustaining relations on local level between vocational schools and businesses in the scope of monitoring and forecasting business needs towards competences.

Information panels will be stage a part of a pilot project in four Wielkopolska districts and in the city of Poznan.

Pilot information panels will be staged in four Wielkopolska districts and in the city of Poznan.

Pilot meeting was attended by the Administration of High and Technical School Complex, as well as entrepreneurs representing the IT industry. IT technician competences against employers’ needs were discussed during the meeting.

Next information meeting is planned at the beginning of 2012 at the Construction Industry School Complex in Poznan.
